There are many walks and hikes that you can make, from the easiest to the most challenging. You will enjoy enchanting views, among paths of centuries-old larch trees, swirling rivers, lakes with crystal clear water where the mountains are reflected, mountain cottages and high altitude pastures for summer grazing, breath-taking peaks or just relax, a quiet reading in a flowery meadow in the fresh mountain air, natural recharge and antidote against anxiety and stress. All this alone, accompanied by Alberto or by the expert guides of the Stelvio National Park, who propose suggestive activities to the knowledge of our territory.

The environment in which we live is a complete and efficient natural gym. In addition to trekking with backpack and boots, there are many sports that can be practiced: mountain biking, rafting, canoeing, hydrospeed, nordic walking, orienteering, archery, horseback riding, climbing, skating, minicar, tennis, football, bocce, fitness, fishing, mushroom picking... In addition, various events and activities are offered weekly by the local Tourist Consortium Pejo 3000 and the Tourist Promotion Company.

In recent years there has been a rediscovery of the ancient values and places of the mountains and there are many activities that the Val di Pejo Ecomuseum "Little Alpine World" has taken care of in a special way in order to safeguard knowledge and traditions (e.g.: linen processing, guided tours to Casa Grazioli, the Ethnographic Museum of Wood in the Ancient Sawmill of Celledizzo and the War Museum of Pejo).

GOOD FOOD
Our territory boasts an ancient and consolidated cheese-making tradition represented by the turnario cheese factory in Peio, an artisan cheese factory in Cogolo and the mountain cottages (malga Covel, malga Campo, malga Valcomasine) where cow's and goat's milk is processed for the production of cheese, butter and ricotta, mountain flavours that you won't find elsewhere. For some years now you can also enjoy strawberries and raspberries grown locally. We would also like to point out the characteristic agriculture week in September, during which the ancient traditions of "tosada delle pecore" and "desmontegada" are restored, i.e. the return of the cows from the pasture, events, folklore and good food. The Trentino gastronomic experience is guaranteed by the numerous local restaurants, which offer typical local dishes (such as dumplings, strangolapreti, potato cakes, polenta, game and mushrooms...)

A HOLIDAY TOGETHER
Also for children the Val di Pejo offers various activities. Immersed in nature they can satisfy their curiosity, discover the stars, approach and caress wild animals in the Pejo Fonti wildlife area, or simply play outdoors. In the immediate vicinity of the Scoiattolo lodge, in a breath-taking scenery, there is a brand new playground equipped for the enjoyment of children of all ages.
PEJO KINDERLAND
FAMILY PARK DEDICATED TO CHILDREN.
This park was built right in front of the Scoiattolo Lodge, with breath-taking views of the peaks of Val di Sole, which ranges between the themes of water and eagle, with several points of interest.
Fun for the little ones is certainly guaranteed between the water courses with the various dams, the sandbox, the personalized pulley with a falcon and the hammocks for relaxation, also for adults!
